Please mark you calendars now for the May Reunion!!  We will meet Saturday, May 18, at 5 p.m. at Grace Missionary Baptist Church’s new location, 1301 Beacon St (corner of Beacon and Kenwood Sts.)  Bring your favorite snack/appetizer, your name tag, song book, and a 2 liter! Prepare yourself for a time of worship and fellowship!  We will be sharing some important information about the fall weekend.  Please be in prayer for the board as decisions are being made.  Join us to get the latest updates and to enjoy the special time of connecting with each other!!

Due to the date of Easter this year, the April Reunion will be held Saturday, April 13, at 5 p.m. at Maiden Lane COG gymnasium.   Enter on the Maiden Lane side of the church, Door “B.”  Bring your favorite snack/appetizer, your name tag, song book, and a 2 liter! Prepare yourself for a time of worship and fellowship!  We have been missing many of you!!  Please join us to stay up-to-date and and enjoy the special time of connecting with each other!!

Responding to the recommendation of Ray Starr, Rector for DK-65, the board has voted to cancel the weekend for April 26-28 of this year.  Due to lack of participants, the board decided it was expedient not to proceed with this spring’s weekend.  DK-65 will be moved to October 25-27, so begin now to be in prayer for that weekend, your involvement, and participants!!  God bless!

Hello everyone. It’s that time of year again and another DK weekend is just around the corner. DK-65 Rector, Ray Starr and his assistant, Tammy Phillips are hard at work putting together the team. Please be in prayer for them and the team that is coming together to serve the participants of the weekend.

Speaking of participants, do you have someone in mind that you would love to have experience a DK weekend? It’s time to get those applications in. We know what it is like to see if we are going to be on the team then figure out who we would like to send, but please put that thought aside. If you know someone who can be blessed by the weekend sponsor them even if you aren’t serving on team this time around. Remember the blessing is theirs to be had. We’ve all been there and done that, right? We know it’s nice to be there and see them bloom…but remember that actual grace thing?

The board has initiated an exciting fundraiser, featuring Little Caesars pizza, which is for the purpose of assisting with individual costs for the upcoming weekend.  All of you can participate and take advantage of this fundraiser for yourselves, friends, and family!

There are hard copy order forms and flyers available that can be used, but you can also order anything on the flyer you choose by doing so online.  Steps to do so are:

– Go to PizzaKit.com.

Click on ‘Products,’ then click on ‘Shop.’

Select Ship My order to the Group.

Enter Fundraiser  ID # ‘365302.’

Follow prompts to create your User ID.

Pay directly online with credit card.

These orders must be made by 11:00 PM on 3/18/19.

There are multiple sizes and types of pizza and, also, breads and desserts.  All pizzas are prepared as requested and frozen so that you can stock your freezer! They can then be picked up at Maiden Lane Church of God gym on 3/26/19 starting at 10:30 a.m, and must be picked up that day.
